It’s reported that there is no chance of him signing a new deal at United with the World Cup winner believing the club is in reverse.
The Sun add that Pogba is refusing to be made scapegoat for United’s problems with the Red Devils having struggled at the start of the new season.
Pogba returned against Rochdale after missing three matches due to an ankle injury.
And United boss Solskjaer explained the decision not to give the former Juventus star the armband for the game.

“Axel is a captain in the making. He is a leader and why not give it to the young kids?” Solskjaer said.
“We know we can give it to Sergio (Romero), we can give it to Paul - that’s no problem they have been captains before. But it’s Axel so how does he handle it?
“The answer is he did absolutely fine. He enjoyed it so that is just a way of telling him that we trust him.”
Pogba could now feature in Manchester United’s next Premier League clash.
The Red Devils host Arsenal on Monday night as they look to pick up just their third win of the season.
