The 20-time top-flight champions sit eighth in the table after six matches, having picked up just five points from their five most recent league outings.
In that time, disappointing defeats to Crystal Palace and West Ham have intensified pressure on the players and boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with many fans calling for the manager to be sacked on social media.
But former Old Trafford hero Evra, who is currently training for his coaching badges at Carrington, has called for a united front from fans, with the ex-Juventus ace imploring supporters to stay positive.
On Instagram, the former France international posted a picture of himself in the famous red strip and wrote: "Like I always say people are laughing at us because we hurt them so much in the past!
"Now if you don’t support us when we struggle it means you can’t support us when we win!
"So we need only positive energy from all United fans around the world and I know we all need to work together no matter which role you have for this club.
"FOREVRA RED @manchesterunited #ilovethisgame #positive4evra #manchesterunited."
Fans have reacted well to the post, with one supporter responding: "I love you Patrice, and also love this GAME."

The former Manchester United star's rallying cry comes days after Evra suggested the board should approach him for a role after the defeat at the London Stadium.
He wrote: I think it’s time to get our hands dirty!
"@manchesterunited board, are you ready to let us help you guys...? #manchesterunited.”
