Arsene Wenger gives verdict on chance of new Man Utd aces replicating Class of ’92 heroics
Arsene Wenger has given his verdict on the Manchester United squad this season, and whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team of youngsters could emulate the famous Class of ’92 - and it’s not good news for Red Devils fans.
Man United are not 'ready' to fight for title says Arsene Wenger
Arsene Wenger thinks Manchester United are unlikely to challenge for the Premier League title with their current squad and says they are unlikely to replicate the glory days of the Class of '92.
The former Arsenal manager admits that there are some exciting players at United.
But, they’re still maturing, and as a squad, they’re not ready to challenge at the highest level.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team is one of the youngest in the Premier League, as the Norwegian looks to rebuild after a turbulent six years at Old Trafford.

“All these players are not mature enough to carry the team, a team like Manchester United altogether,” Wenger told beIN SPORTS.
“That’s a question mark now.”
Wenger doesn’t think the squad will emulate the success of United’s Class of ’92, which famously won the treble in 1999, including the Champions League.
There’s talent in the team, but it’s still not ready to compete at the highest level, he added.

“You feel there’s something coming out, but it’s not ready,” said Wenger.
“That’s why I say when you watch them play, they’re not candidates to fight for the championship.
“Will they emulate what Giggs/Scholes/Beckham did over the years? Personally, I’m not convinced.”
Solskjaer has named three starting XIs in the Premier League this season with an average age younger than 25.
