Manchester United have reportedly agreed to waive a 25 per cent deduction clause in David de Gea’s new contract.
De Gea is believed to have signed a new four-year deal at Old Trafford, with the option of an extra year.
It ends months of speculation over De Gea’s future with the goalkeeper having been out of contract at the end of the current season.
The Spaniard had been holding out for more money with De Gea now understood to be earning a basic of £250,000-a-week.

And The Sunday Times claim De Gea will be earning more than his team-mates due to a clause being waived.
It’s reported that other first-team played receive a 25 per cent deduction to their salary having failed to qualify for this season’s Champions League.
That includes the likes of Paul Pogba with De Gea now earning more than the Frenchman.
