Liverpool FC: Duncan 'happy' when Glatzel goes to first team
The striker will feel pleased that the club have put further faith in him following a serious knee injury, which has disrupted his impressive progress.
Glatzel is currently undergoing rehabilitation on the problem picked up in the pre-season victory over Tranmere.
The 18-year-old formed a deadly duo with Bobby Duncan last season, in which the pair scored over 60 goals between them.
Duncan has since left the club for Fiorentina after his agent Saif Rubie called out the Anfield hierarchy for their treatment of the star.

Another host of other Liverpool supporters backed up those claims, one said: “Glatzel >>> Duncan.”
“Bobby Duncan is the BTEC Glatzel,” said a fifth.
Another Reds fan wrote: “Showing Bobby how to go about things.”
Glatzel was clearly delighted to extend his stay on Merseyside and is looking forward to making his return to the pitch.
“It's a great feeling obviously,” he told Liverpool’s official website.
"I was disappointed to get my injury at the start of the season, but it's a great feeling and it shows that the club has got faith in me. Now I can just focus on my rehab and get back on the pitch.
"I've been at the club for so long and I just want to keep going and see where it takes me. Hopefully I can crack on now and keep going. The contract makes it easier.
"Mentally, it's good to be able to focus on the rehab and know that there's people that have faith in me and they know I'll come back from my injury stronger and I'll be ready when I'm back on the pitch."
