Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is reportedly close to leaving Old Trafford on a permanent transfer, with a medical booked in tomorrow ahead of his switch to Parma in Italy.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sell Matteo Darmian to Parma, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The defender will be having a medical at the Italian club tomorrow, ahead of his switch to Serie A.
Damian’s future at United has been the subject of speculation after he failed to impress the Old Trafford crowd.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that there was interest in the Italian earlier today.

The Old Trafford hierarchy would be hoping to cash in on Darmian while they still can, as his contract expires at the end of June next year.
He made just six appearances in the Premier League last season, and featured just once in the FA Cup.
During his four-year stay at United, he’s made 92 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring just one goal, and recording four assists.
Meanwhile, Darmian has been capped 36 times for Italy, and has scored one goal for his country.
Since arriving in the Premier League, he’s won four trophies with United.
He won the FA Cup in 2016, after beating Crystal Palace 2-1.
Darmian won the EFL Cup the following year, after controversially beating Southampton 3-2 at Wembley.
Just a few months later, and United won the Europa League 2-0 against Ajax.
He also won the Community Shield in 2016, having beaten Leicester City 2-1.
Meanwhile, United defender Chris Smalling is close to sealing a loan move to AS Roma.
