De Ligt, Varane and Sancho at Arsenal? Griezmann unveils team fans can only dream of
ARSENAL fans can be forgiven for dreaming of seeing the Gunners team Antoine Griezmann has constructed on Football Manager turning out at the Emirates.
There are places for Frenkie de Jong and Bruno Fernandes, both of whom would represent upgrades on the midfielders on the books in north London.
Teenage phenom Joao Felix, who replaced Griezmann at Atletico Madrid this summer, is in the Football Manager starting line-up too.
A host of other rising stars make the cut, along with Premier League aces Ruben Neves, Phil Foden and Chris Mepham.
Antoine Griezmann’s 'Arsenal 2023' team, set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, bears no resemblance to the one Emery can call upon.

And that means there is no place for the Barcelona forward’s France team-mate, Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette picked up on the omission, asking Griezmann on Twitter: "Where am I?"
Griezmann explained why Lacazette no longer features for Arsenal in a brilliantly simplistic reply.
"2021: @premierleague [tick emoji] @Carabao_Cup [tick emoji] @ChampionsLeague [tick emoji] European Super Cup [tick emoji] World Cup Cup," Griezmann wrote.

Arsenal chiefs went about splashing the cash this summer as they attempted to bolster Emery’s squad.
Club-record £72m signing Nicolas Pepe came in, along with £25m left-back Kieran Tierney, £8m centre-back David Luiz, £6m forward Gabriel Martinelli and loanee Dani Ceballos.
Arsenal also hammered out a deal for William Saliba, who has joined for £27m before being immediately loaned back to Saint-Etienne.
