Man Utd fans offered hope as Bruno Fernandes transfer negotiations theory proposed
MANCHESTER UNITED maybe distancing themselves from Bruno Fernandes in order to secure the deal at a cheaper price, according to Sky Sports transfer reporter Anton Toloui.
United feel as if most of the noise surrounding Fernandes’ future is coming from Portugal and is not necesarily true.
Sky Sports reporter Anton Toloui has suggested that Ed Woodward and co could be using the silence as a negotiation tactic to complete a deal for the midfielder.
He said on Good Morning Transfers: “Is this just a negotiation tactic?
“I’m only asking this because if Manchester United walk away from the table and Sporting want to cash in, the only way to get Manchester United back to the table is to accept less money.

“Then the negotiations start again, it’s quite a common tactic to say that you don’t really want a player then you go back in for him again later on.
“I’m not saying that they are doing this, but it’s more common than you think and this is an excellent player who could genuinely, legitimately improve them in the short term.”
United are keen on bringing in at least two new faces before the August 8 deadline, which means there’s plenty of work to be done.
It now looks increasingly likely that Fernandes could stay in Portugal for at least another season, barring a late swing of the pendulum.
“It’s a bit of a no brainer signing for Manchester United,” Toloui added.

“He’s a top player and he proved that again with a strong performance against Liverpool.
“We understand that United are keen on a central defender, Harry Maguire we know about, a central midfielder which really is Fernandes’ position and a wide player.
“I am slightly confused about this by Manchester United and I think some of the fans are because they were getting excited by this potential Fernandes deal.
