‘No thanks’ is what Mundo claim United told Barcelona when they inquired about Lindelof’s availability.
Lindelof joined Manchester United from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a fee of £31million.
The Swede has made a total of 69 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.

And Lindelof believes it’s imperative his fellow Scandinavian gets his business done before the team begins their preparations for the new season.
“Pre-season is very important for the team,“ said Lindelof. “New players come in and meet the group and I think it’s vital, especially this season, that we’re altogether in the beginning and work through things we want to do and the things we want to improve, so yeah I would say pre-season is very important.
“When I had just signed for the club, it was important for me to meet and bond with all the players and staff, see what kind of personalities there are and see how the club worked. I really enjoyed it.”
