9.45pm UPDATE: Two Tottenham updates
Tottenham will not have it all their own way as they look to prise Tanguy Ndombele away from Lyon this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino has identified the livewire midfielder as his top target ahead of next season.
But Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be keen to lure Ndombele to the French capital from their domestic rivals.
On a more positive note for Tottenham, Daniel Levy is poised to rubber stamp a £15m move for Leeds winger Jack Clarke.
9.05pm UPDATE: Liverpool transfer admission
Sheffield United star Jack O’Connell would love to join Liverpool - even if he admits a move to his boyhood club is improbable.
"I'm a massive Liverpool fan and went to the Champions League final in Madrid - but couldn't really enjoy the game because I ended up analysing them as opposition next season," O’Connell said.
"I'm guessing staying up is the main priority [for United] but seeing Jordan Henderson lift the trophy gave me goosebumps, and I'd love it to be me one day.
"Obviously I am happy at Sheffield United. I've just signed a new contract and I've never thought about leaving, but my dream as a kid was to play for Liverpool and if they ever come knocking, although unlikely, it would be hard to turn them down."
8.30pm UPDATE: Man City missed out on deal
Manchester City almost snatched Raoul Bellanova from under Bordeaux’s nose back in January, according to the player himself.
"Yes, I was close to Manchester City, but I was also asked by Tottenham, Juventus, Sampdoria, Bologna and many other teams," Bellanova said.
Bellanova ended up being loaned back to AC Milan following his move to Bordeaux at the start of the year.
However, the biggest impression he made at the San Siro was appearing in an embarrassing photobomb with Cristiano Ronaldo and Giorgio Chiellini.
7.40pm UPDATE: Chelsea stars in limbo
Kurt Zouma, Michy Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham and Tiemoue Bakayoko are waiting to discover if they will be at Chelsea next season.
The Blues are in a state of transition with Maurizio Sarri departed and a new manager yet to be appointed by chiefs.
Marina Granovskaia and co. have identified Frank Lampard as the man to replace Sarri, with an agreement for the Derby boss to join them in the pipeline.
However, amid the upheaval, the Daily Mail report Zouma, Batshuayi, Abraham and Bakayoko have not been told where their futures lie.
7.20pm UPDATE: Arsenal, Everton and Man Utd battle
Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United are interested in prising Armando Izzo away from Torino this summer.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim the Premier League trio are trailing the 27-year-old centre-back.
And Izzo’s agent apparently jetted into the UK for talks with representatives of English clubs this week.
Izzo has only spent 12 months at Torino, but could soon be heading for the exit door if a bid is made.
7.10pm UPDATE: Ryan Kent to Rangers latest
Gary McAllister wants to welcome Liverpool winger Ryan Kent back to Rangers for next season.
"[Talks are] ongoing, but the decisions at Liverpool will probably be later down the line," McAllister said. "Is he worth the wait? I would say so.
"He has got a rapport with the fans and there is no doubt he enjoyed his time here.
"That’s on the pitch, in and around the training ground and the city as well — he enjoyed Glasgow.
"We have to be aware that Liverpool might receive bids, but you don’t know. If Ryan is to go back out on loan again, I think we’d be first in line."
7pm UPDATE: Chelsea devise transfer ban plan
Chelsea have told Petr Cech to help promote youngsters to their first-team to give their next manager more options.
The Blues are facing not being able to sign new players for the next two windows due to their past recruitment of foreign minors.
But they could welcome a few fresh faces into their senior squad by making the most of their array of academy talent.
Cech, who is now technical and performance adviser at Stamford Bridge, will look to bring through Chelsea’s next generation.
6.30pm UPDATE: Liverpool get good Nicolas Pepe news
Liverpool are understood to be interested in bringing Nicolas Pepe to the Premier League.
And Bundesliga reporter Christian Falk has now provided a positive update with regard to potential rival interest from Bayern Munich.
"Pepe – they scouted him a lot of times, I know that the board had said no to a transfer because he’s not the quality of Bayern Munich, but if they don’t get any winger, perhaps they have to rethink Pepe. But I would say no," Falk said.
Pepe is also on the radar of Manchester United having helped Lille secure Champions League qualification for next season.
6pm UPDATE: Arsenal and Celtic development
Arsenal have seen an offer for Kieran Tierney knocked back but are hopeful of striking a deal with Celtic.
That is according to BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein, who has developed a reputation for breaking Gunners transfer news.
"As reported elsewhere Arsenal have had an opening bid of £15m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney rejected - but there is optimism an agreement will be reached between the clubs, while personal terms for the 22-year-old Scotland international shouldn’t be a problem," Ornstein tweeted.
Tierney is an option to play left-back for Arsenal next season with doubts persisting over Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac’s futures.
Tierney is 'one of the best left-backs in the world' says expert
5.30pm UPDATE: Man Utd and Tottenham transfer twist
Manchester United and Tottenham have been embroiled together in a transfer saga by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
They reckon United are set to sign Christian Eriksen from Spurs before the end of this summer’s window.
That will come as a blow to Tottenham, given Eriksen’s playmaking prowess and dead-ball ability.
However, there is a silver lining - the move will supposedly pave the way for Tottenham to prise Bruno Fernandes away from O Jogo.
