Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018 to complete his dream move to Catalonia.
Liverpool had fought tooth and nail to keep the playmaker the prior summer but admitted defeat when Barcelona offered an initial £106m plus add-ons which could see it rise to £142m.
So far, Liverpool have accumulated £22.5m of the possible £36m in add-ons, through qualification for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 editions of the Champions League and appearance fees.
Liverpool included a clause on the contract which means Barcelona pay them £4.5m every 25 games he dons the red and blue threads, according to The Mirror.
Chelsea are the most attractive English option for Coutinho, who is open to filling the Eden Hazard void, but the west London club have been hit with a two-window transfer ban which they have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Speaking about his future while at the Copa America with Brazil, Coutinho was asked whether he may leave Barcelona.
"I do not know,” he said. “The future, nobody knows.
