Klopp had restricted himself from touching the famous sign in the Anfield tunnel until he had won a trophy as Liverpool boss.
And he had also demanded his players did not lay a hand on it.
The German previously said: "I've told my players not to touch the 'This Is Anfield' sign until they win something. It's a sign of respect."
