What Chelsea ace Cesar Azpilicueta did during Man Utd Premier League clash is pure class
CHELSEA star Cesar Azpilicueta found himself helping out a Manchester United man during their 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, but it wasn’t someone in the opposing starting eleven.
With eight minutes left in the first half and Manchester United one goal up Azpilicueta was sent flying off the pitch after contesting the ball with Romelu Lukaku.
The 29-year-old Chelsea defender lost out in the physical battle with Lukaku and went crashing into United’s club photographer John Peters.
After smashing into Peters the Spaniard took the time to check he was okay and apologised after the collision.
When asked about the incident after the game Azpilicueta revealed he held no grudge for Lukaku’s action.
You could see he was a lot more concerned for me than himself
"I was OK, maybe I was lucky I had the photographer just in front of me,” he said.
“I was going straight to the wall.
"It's a fight, it's a fight, we knew they are a very physical team.
"Physicality is part of football, the battles, I'm happy for it."

As for the photographer, Peters revealed he felt a bit sore after the incident and admitted he was relieved it wasn’t somebody bigger who had run into him.
“I was a bit sore yesterday, I have to tell you!” John said to United's official website.
“I was a bit bruised!
“I think I was a bit lucky really. He’s a stocky lad, but if it had been someone bigger I could have been dead!
“You could see he was a lot more concerned for me than himself.
“I mean, he’s a bloody professional footballer! But he was fine, too. It all happened very quickly.
“Obviously the game was still going on, so he just apologised and I told him: ‘Don’t worry, mate, no problem.’
“I just sat there a little bit dazed with only one lens, because the other one was in pieces!”
