Philippe Coutinho says he was 'very happy' at Liverpool
Philippe Coutinho is set to start for Barcelona when they lock horns with Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final showdown this evening.
The Brazil international will be going up against his former side for the first times since his £142million move to the Nou Camp back in January 2018.
Coutinho has often struggled for Barcelona in the time since but has recently rediscovered his best form and, now, will look to dash Liverpool’s hopes of European glory.
And the Independent have now delved into how the 26-year-old was able to secure his ‘dream’ move to Catalonia.
