Man Utd and Chelsea draw suggests Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has LOST faith in one key star
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to omit Anthony Martial from the starting line up for the club's Premier League game with Chelsea on Sunday speaks volumes.
But there was no place in the Manchester United starting XI for Martial who, just days after being benched for the club's showdown with Manchester City at Old Trafford, had to settle for a place among the substitutes again.
Back in January, the France international put pen to paper on a contract extension.
He had, after all, been performing brightly well before Solskjaer's appointment, finally winning Jose Mourinho round.
And, initially, United looked to have made the right decision.
Martial was the best player on the pitch as United battled their way past Fulham in February, scoring a stunning solo goal.

But he has done precious little in the time since.
And Solskjaer, keen to be just as ruthless as club great Sir Alex Ferguson, appears reluctant to throw him into the mix.
“Most of them have really impressed in their attitude and some need to get a reality check of where they're at but most of these know they can improve if they keep working as they do," he said earlier this month.
“I've spoken to individuals and they know and Anthony is one I've spoken to, what we expect from them.
“Anthony’s got a massive talent, got a new contract knows we believe in him, so just keep working.”
