Arsenal have missed out on Champions League football in both of the last two seasons but are hoping to return the top four this season.
However, the north London outfit sit a point behind fourth-placed Chelsea with three games to go.
Emery’s side also have a chance to reach Europe’s premier competition via winning the Europa League and face the Spanish coach’s former club Valencia in the semi finals next month.
But Giggs thinks that Emery is doing a stellar job in his first season at the Emirates because of the quality of his options defensively - with Arsenal having now conceded 46 goals in 35 top-flight games.
That total is already more than the total tally they leaked in all but two of their previous 23 complete 38-game campaigns in the Premier League era.

I think he’s done a fantastic job
Ryan Giggs
Giggs told Premier League Productions: “I think he’s done a remarkable job with the defenders he’s got.
“He’s got talented midfielders, talented forward players, but you saw in some of them goals - they just aren’t quite good enough at the back.
“He got a lot of stick when they had a tough start, he stuck with how they wanted to play playing out from the back and they’ve got the rewards from that.
“I think he’s done a fantastic job. But the away form is a big worry for them.”
Alan Shearer, meanwhile, felt Arsenal are fortunate that their top-four rivals have been inconsistent of late.
