David Neres transfer battle
Manchester United will go head-to-head with Arsenal for Ajax star David Neres.
That’s according to The Sun, who claim the Premier League duo will scrap it out for the £45million-rated winger.
Neres, who earned his first cap for the Brazil national side last month, has impressed this season - netting 11 goals and providing 15 assists in 43 appearances.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Everton have also been credited with interest.
However The Sun believe Arsenal and Manchester United are the leading contenders.
Kostas Manolas release clause
Manchester United are set to pay Kostas Manolas’ Roma release clause after being snubbed by Inter Milan ace Milan Skriniar, according to reports.
Manchester United have been linked with moves for Roma and Inter defenders Manolas and Skriniar as they seek to sign a centre-back this summer.
And Tuttomercatoweb say United are ready to fork out for Manolas.
The Greece international can be acquired for just £31million and is supposedly ready to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
United will reportedly give the centre-back a contract worth nearly £4m per season.
And that, Tuttomercatoweb say, comes after Skriniar rejected a move.

Liverpool and Man Utd are battling to sign Nicolas Pepe this summer, L’Equipe claim.
They say United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the winger.
L’Equipe reckon the Premier League big boys are willing to pay around £65m for Pepe.
Manchester City and Arsenal have also been credited with interest in Pepe ahead of the summer transfer window.

Barcelona instructions
Ernesto Valverde has told his players to avoid two things against Manchester United in the Champions League clash tonight.
The Barca manager has told Lionel Messi and co to avoid giving away corners and free-kicks in dangerous areas.
Valverde is well aware of the superior height and strength United possess and therefore wants to negate that threat.
Spanish outlet AS claim he told his players: “We must avoid corner kicks and lateral fouls.”
