Man City ace Gundogan reveals big problem for Pep Guardiola - Liverpool fans will LOVE it
ILKAY GUNDOGAN has made a startling revelation, claiming his Manchester City team-mates get nervous and are not brave enough when it comes to the crunch, which will be music to the ears of Liverpool fans as they battle for the Premier League title over the next two months.
City missed a first-half penalty after Spurs defender Danny Rose was controversially judged to have handled the ball in the box.
Gundogan reckons Sergio Aguero’s miss had a huge impact on the team, saying: “Negative events like that always set us back far too much.
“Had we scored from the penalty we’d have taken Tottenham apart, but instead we withdrew from the game.”
City’s quadruple hopes now hinge on them overturning the 1-0 deficit at the Etihad next Wednesday.

Gundogan said: “We always seem to make the wrong decisions in these games.
“We always want to do something special because it means Champions League semi-finals.
"But sometimes less is more.”
Gundogan’s scathing comments suggest there’s some disharmony amongst the City ranks, which Liverpool fans will be hoping the Reds can capitalise on in their final push for the Premier League title.
