Solskjaer emblazoned his name in United folklore by scoring the Champions League winner in the club’s 1999 treble-winning season.
The Red Devils were trailing Bayern Munich 1-0 when the Norwegian was introduced in the 81st minute.
United equalised through Teddy Sheringham in the first minute of injury time before Solskjaer capped off the most famous of late comebacks two minutes later.

Man United: Solskjaer has the 'power’ now claims pundit
That night at the Nou Camp lives long in the memory of United fans and Solskjaer will return there 20 years on next month as a manager when the side face Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Many thought the club would held their nerve and wait out the season before appointing Solskjaer permanently, but executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward spoke convincingly in the press release confirming the news.
“Since coming in as caretaker manager in December, the results Ole has delivered speak for themselves," he said.
“More than just performances and results, Ole brings a wealth of experience, both as a player and as a coach, coupled with a desire to give young players their chance and a deep understanding of the culture of the club.
