Betis grabbed a goal back to make the score 3-1 in the second half, but Messi’s sensational chip reinstalled Barca’s three-goal advantage.
"We played against a team that treats the ball well," Messi continued.
"We have to adapt, there are specific moments and games and we have to be prepared for everything, good things will come.
"We have a good advantage [in La Liga], but there are many points left and we have to play as usual without giving anything away."
