Man Utd hero Ferdinand reveals Rashford training ground secret that led to him doing THIS
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Marcus Rashford has been putting plenty of practice into his long-range shooting.
Man United: Rio Ferdinand goes CRAZY at Marcus Rashford goal
That is according to BT Sport pundit and Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand.
Ferdinand claims he was at the United training ground last week watching Marcus Rashford.
The England international struck the vital late penalty to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last-16 second leg on Wednesday.
But it was his role in the second goal in the 3-1 win that Ferdinand claims the 21-year-old has been working on.
He does make the ball move wonderfully and it makes it almost impossible for any goalkeeper on the planet to make a clean save
Rashford struck a powerful, dipping shot from over 20 yards out that was spilled by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Romelu Lukaku was there to meet the ball on the rebound and score his second of the evening.
And Ferdinand that type of shot has been worked on a lot recently by Rashford.
“The way these balls moved nowadays, I was at the training ground a little while ago, last week it was, and I saw him hitting these balls from around this distance, dead balls,” Ferdinand said.
“And he does make the ball move wonderfully and it makes it almost impossible for any goalkeeper on the planet to make a clean save.
“Buffon just tries to get his body behind the ball.
“The ball pops out and one thing you can never doubt about Lukaku is his instincts to get into positions to score goals.”
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves claims Rashford knew his shot would not go in.

“There’s only a handful of players in a team that can hit a ball like that where it dips and moves all over the place,” Hargreaves said.
“Rashford knew he probably wouldn’t score with the first one.
“But credit Lukaku for pouncing on that second one.”
United will discover their opponents for the quarter-final at the draw in Nyon on March 15.
