Man Utd v PSG: 'We always believed we could win' says Solskjaer
The Italy international is currently sidelined through injury - but that didn’t stop him cheering on his pals as they progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals.
He posted: “Well done guys!! Special @championsleague night! As if I were there too (picture 2) @ManUtd”. Accompanied with the caption was a picture of his face photoshopped over Mason Greenwood’s as Marcus Rashford celebrated.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s lack of options at right-back meant Eric Bailly got the nod.
However, it was an evening to forget for the Ivory Coast international as he struggled to get to grips playing at full-back.
Bailly was eventually withdrawn from the action after just 36 minutes having picked up a knock.
Club legend Rio Ferdinand reckons Bailly’s injury actually helped Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the end.
“It would have been negligent to keep Bailly on the pitch to be honest,” Ferdinand said on BT Sport.
“It’s a blessing he got injured and had to come off.”

Bailly was caught out of position for PSG’s equaliser after Romelu Lukaku put United in front.
Owen Hargreaves was similarly critical of the former Villarreal defender.
“Credit PSG it was a good reaction from going 1-0 down,” Hargreaves said.
“They've (United) had issues down that right side all half.
