That’s according to former Los Blancos supremo Ramon Calderon, who has shed light on the star’s £99million exit.
Ronaldo left Real Madrid last summer to join Juventus after spending nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu where he won four Champions League titles.

Cristiano Ronaldo 'likes the attention' says pundit
But Perez went against his wish doing the opposite and that ultimately led to the Frenchman’s resignation.

Ronaldo enjoyed an unhappy return to Madrid when he faced Atletico on Wednesday in the Champions League.
Juventus were beaten 2-0 by Diego Simeone’s side.
The home fans booed Ronaldo for the whole match and he responded by holding up five fingers.
The gesture was in reference to the five Champions League titles he has won compared to Atletico’s zero.
