The Blues were dumped out of the FA Cup on Monday by Manchester United and suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat to Manchester City prior to that in the Premier League.
And that has led to speculation Sarri could be about to exit Stamford Bridge.
The Sun claim the players are aware the Italian will be sacked if they flop again against City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
Chelsea top brass will reportedly act if they suffer another humiliation.
The Blues were booed off the Stamford Bridge pitch on Monday as Manchester United won 2-0 in the FA Cup fifth round.
Goals from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba sealed an emphatic win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's clash against Malmo in the Europa League, Sarri has called for a good performance.
He said: “It is very difficult to think we are able to win three or four in a row, but in football everything can change in one day.

“I think we need a good performance and result and then with more confidence we can.
“I have to think I will be Chelsea manager for a long time or I cannot work.
“I am not sure but I must think this and want to work with a long-term target.”
Zinedine Zidane and Chelsea hero Frank Lampard have both been linked with replacing Sarri.
