And it was Ronaldo’s celebration that was most telling once the ball had crossed the line.
Cristiano Ronaldo is sometimes seen as a selfish player but his celebration for Dybala’s goal proved his detractors wrong.
The 33-year-old punched the air as the bak found the net and then immediately pointed at Dybala.

The pair then ran off to celebrate the strike together as Juventus took an early lead.
Last month Dybala - who plays with Lionel Messi at international level for Argentina - discussed having Ronaldo as a team-mate as well.
"I am lucky enough to have Cristiano at my club and Leo in my national team," he said.
