Man Utd team news vs PSG: Predicted line up – Solskjaer hints at rotation, two ruled out
MANCHESTER UNITED manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to ring the changes when the Red Devils take on Paris Saint-Germain tonight (8pm).
Manchester United are expected to revert back to their strongest XI when they face Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford tonight.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side host the Ligue 1 giants in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash, with the visitors missing star men Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
However, Solskjaer rotated his squad for the 3-0 win over Fulham last time out and is expected to recall a number of first-team stars against the French champions.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Norwegian said: "We are missing Antonio [Valencia] and Matteo [Darmian] – they're not available, so we have a big strong and healthy squad and with a big game coming up I have many to pick from.
"It would be a risk to play the same XI as the last game, but this is a squad game.
“If we are going to be successful this season we need everyone to contribute and everyone in the squad knows they've got a chance to contribute if it's now or next week or the week after.
"You've just got to be ready when you get the chance. That's how, when I played, the manager was always assuring us when you're a part of this squad you're important for us.”
Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard were all rested against Fulham while Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata started at Craven Cottage.
Rashford and Lingard are almost certain to come back into the side, although Martial might have done enough to oust Sanchez from a starting berth after his superb goal at the weekend.
Diogo Dalot, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all started in defence and are therefore likely to rotate to the bench if Ashley Young, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof return.
The Swedish centre-back missed the win over Fulham due to a knock but is expected to be fit in time to face PSG.
As well as Valencia and Darmian, Marcos Rojo remains a doubt while Nemanja Matic is one booking away from a suspension.
