Gareth Bale was brought off the bench with Santiago Solari aiming to seal three points - and Bale did exactly that, drilling a shot past Jan Oblak and adding to his incredible record in the process.
Bale joined Madrid from Tottenham in 2013 for an estimated £85million.
The Wales international has had a difficult time in the Spanish capital, suffering over 20 injuries and falling out of favour with several managers, however, Bale has now gone on to score 100 goals in his 217 games in a Madrid shirt.
Bale’s most prolific season in terms of goals remains his first year at the club in 2013/14 - but has played his part in an incredible trophy haul since leaving Spurs.

The 29-year-old has won six major trophies in his time at Real, the league title once, the Champions League four times and the Copa del Rey once.
That equates to a major trophy in every 36 games of his stint at the Bernabeu.
His 100 goals and 63 assists average out to a major goal contribution every 1.3 games.
Bale has never been fully taken to by fans in Spain, leading to constant speculation regarding a possible return to the Premier League.

Gareth never wanted to leave Real Madrid
Real Madrid news: Gareth Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett
Speculation was so rife last month that Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, was forced to deny claims that his client wants to leave.
“Gareth never wanted to leave Real Madrid,” Barnett told Madridista Real.
“Bale has always felt an important part of this team... Bale is very happy at Real Madrid and Real Madrid is very happy with Bale.”
