Denis Suarez reveals which two players inspired him to join Arsenal from Barcelona
DENIS SUAREZ has revealed the two players which inspired him to join Arsenal.
Suarez has moved to the Emirates on loan from Barcelona until the end of the current season.
Arsenal will then have an option to buy the Spanish midfielder, who spent time with Manchester City earlier in his career.

He made just two senior appearances for City, both in the League Cup, before leaving for Barcelona in 2013.
Suarez struggled for minutes with the Catalan giants this season though and has now moved to the Emirates.

And though he spent time in Manchester, it was two Arsenal legends that stuck in Suarez’s mind and inspired him to join the club.
“One thing no one knows about me is that when I was little and I used to watch the Premier League on the TV, Arsenal were a team that really inspired me,” Suarez said.
“I used to watch Bergkamp and Henry - they’re both legends of the club and hopefully we can follow in their footsteps.”
Suarez previously worked under Arsenal boss Unai Emery at Sevilla, winning the Europa League together.
And the central midfielder can’t wait to team up with his former boss again.
“I have a very good relationship with Unai Emery,” Suarez added.
“I spent a year with him at Sevilla when we won the Europa League.
“I think he’s a very demanding coach and one of the best coaches in the world right now - I’ve been saying that for a while.
“I’m really happy to have the chance to work with him again and I hope that the rest of the season is successful for me and the club.”
Barcelona have extended Suarez’s deal at the club while loaning him out.
That’s to protect his value with the Spaniard now under contract at the Nou Camp until the summer of 2021.
Suarez could make his debut against his former club when Arsenal travel to Manchester City on Sunday (4.30pm).
