Chelsea: Gonzalo Higuain transfer praised by Dean Saunders
Higuain is due to have a medical today and will complete terms on a six-month loan deal, with another year-long loan then triggered in the summer depending on appearances, goals and results.
Chelsea are ready to take over Higuain's £170,000-a-week wages after Chelsea and Juventus agreed terms on the deal on Wednesday night in Jeddah, where Juve beat AC Milan 1-0 in the Italian Supercoppa final.
It is likely the ex-Napoli man will make his Chelsea debut against Tottenham in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final next Thursday.
Express Sport understands Higuain's arrival will pave the way for Spain striker Alvaro Morata to leave for Atletico Madrid today in a deal worth about £28million.

It's good business from Chelsea
Nigel Reo-Coker
"For Higuain, he's working with a manager he's worked under before.
"It's a manager who knows him very well, he knows how he can fit into his system and what he's trying to build at Chelsea."
As for why it's only a loan, Reo-Coker added: "It's a different life, a different culture and it's just to see how he adapts and how well he does.
"It's good business from Chelsea, it makes sense so let's see how well he does when he gets here."
