Solskjaer replaced Mourinho at Old Trafford, with the United hero winning all five of his games in charge.
Despite only being in charge until the summer, Solskjaer is hoping to have a say in United’s January transfer plans.
“I will have an input but the job is to get to know the players, observe them,” he said.
