Callum Hudson-Odoi should remain at Chelsea insists Sarri
Chelsea star Hudson-Odoi is wanted by Bayern Munich with reports last night claiming the Bundesliga giants had launched a £35million bid.
The 18-year-old was granted a start against Tottenham in the EFL Cup last night and impressed, despite Harry Kane’s goal giving the north London giants a first leg lead.
Chelsea are yet to comment on rumours that Hudson-Odoi could be sold but, writing for the Daily Mail, pundit Sutton was impressed.
And the former Blues hitman singled out the teenager’s lack of fear as his biggest strength.
“For a great team like Bayern Munich to be willing to pay £35million for Callum Hudson-Odoi tells us what a talent he is,” he said.
“His performance against Tottenham, albeit in defeat, told us that, too.
“What impresses me most is that he doesn’t show any fear.
“He has that swagger about him, despite being only 18 years old.
“He knows when to release the ball, too.

“He is young and can improve but he is an excellent prospect. He looked Chelsea’s biggest threat.
“The issue for Maurizio Sarri is that a manager is there to win games and he has players at his disposal such as Pedro and Willian.
“But it is about time Chelsea gave their best youngsters a chance and it was a big show of faith by Sarri to start Hudson-Odoi at Wembley.”
Hudson-Odoi has insisted he is solely focused on Chelsea amid Bayern’s interest.
