CHELSEA must sign a new striker in the January transfer window because they rely too heavily on the goals of Eden Hazard.

The France international has suffered suspected ankle ligament damage and left Selhurst Park on crutches.
Giroud has hardly been in the goals this season though, scoring just once in the Premier League.
I don’t think they ever really replaced [Diego] Costa
Alvaro Morata has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri, with Eden Hazard often playing centrally in recent weeks.
The Belgian is Chelsea's leading scorer in all competitions this season with 12 goals.
But Smith says it is about time he was given some help on the scoring front.
“They have to [buy a striker],” she said.
“I don’t think they ever really replaced [Diego] Costa.
“That big No 9 that the likes of Hazard and Pedro, Willian can play off.
“Morata did okay last season but he’s never really made it his own, swapping with Giroud.
“I know Hazard’s said he likes to play football with Giroud, like to play off him.
“They’ve even tried Hazard in that false nine and I think they’re too over-reliant on him for goals.
“So I think they have to out and look for a striker.
“But who would they go for?”
