The Spaniard has revealed intriguing insight into Hazard’s exterior off the pitch, however.

Speaking to the Chelsea website, Fabregas said: “With Eden, one thing I can say is that outside of the pitch, if I was a coach, I would never give him the armband.
“He is very quiet - he doesn’t talk or get involved in many things.”
The comments are a surprise considering the confidence with which Hazard conducts himself in interviews, and raise suspicions about his current happiness in London.
Hazard’s timid persona beyond the touchlines is a far cry from his leadership come matchday, though, Fabregas explains.

“But on the pitch, I could give him the armband,” the 31-year-old added.
“He is a leader: he always wants the ball, he always wants to make things happen.
“Yes, sometimes it doesn’t come off, this is the Premier League, a tough league, but he always tries. For every team he plays for, Belgium or Chelsea, he is a very important player.”
