Juventus goal is an ABSOLUTE MESS - they scored this without Cristiano Ronaldo
JUVENTUS did not initially need Cristiano Ronaldo to help them against Atalanta today - because their hosts served up a shocking own goal just minutes into the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo misses the ball TWICE against Roma
Juventus dropped Ronaldo to the bench for today’s 2pm kick-off in Serie A.
The intention was to rest the Portugal superstar as Juve prepare for a clash with Sampdoria on Saturday.
Ronaldo was on the bench at Atalanta today just in case Juve manager Max Allegri needed him.

But the 33-year-old didn’t seem required at the start of the game.
That’s because Atalanta defender Berat Djimsiti did the work for him with a comical own goal less than two minutes into the clash.
The Albania international got his feet all wrong with one of his first touches of the ball and redirected a simple cross into his own net.
Juventus sheepishly celebrated the gift goal which came out of nowhere.
The Serie A giants don’t need much help in the league this season as they lead the division by eight points already.
Juve spent £105m on Ronaldo in the summer with the intention that he delivers the Serie A and Champions League titles this term.
And they needed Ronaldo to help them rescue a point against Atalanta as the hosts took the lead early in the second half.
Juve were guilty of not making sure they finished the game off and Allegri brought Ronaldo on as they sought a leveller.
Ronaldo needed just a matter of minutes to bundle home from a corner, securing a 2-2 draw for the league leaders.
Djimsiti’s error was not the only terrible own goal of the day, as Blackburn’s Derrick Williams converted into his own net against Leeds United in the Championship.
