FABINHO’s performance in Liverpool’s victory over Manchester United last week meant he could not be left out of the starting XI against Wolves on Friday.

The duo have rarely started a match together this season, with Henderson left out for the visit of United last Sunday.
Ahead of kick off at Molineux, Carragher admits he was surprised Jurgen Klopp picked both midfielders.
I think Fabinho’s performance was so good last week against Manchester United, he couldn’t leave him out
But he says there was no way Fabinho could have been left out after starring in his last outing.
“Well Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, you’d normally pick one or the other,” Carragher said.
"Both really sort of sitting midfield players. I think the surprise is that he’s playing the two of them, two sitting players.
“I think Fabinho’s performance was so good last week against Manchester United, he couldn’t leave him out.”
Meanwhile, Carragher reckons Manchester City are still title favourites despite Liverpool currently sitting top of the table.
Yes they can [win the league],” Carragher said of Liverpool.
“I still think most people see City as favourites and rightly so.
“I think the big game at the end of the festive period away at the Etihad, if Liverpool can find themselves in the same position which is ahead of Man City, they will be delighted.
“We’re almost at the halfway stage now so if you’re up there fighting with the top teams in the league you’ve got to say you’ve got a decent chance.
“But I think the quality of City at this moment, still, I think most people would see them as slight favourites.
“Maybe more than slight favourites really.
“But I think it’s a great job Jurgen Klopp and the players have done that they’re still with them.”
Fabinho and Henderson played the entire 90 minutes as Liverpool beat Wolves 2-0 and maintained top spot for Christmas.
