Jose Mourinho: Anthony Martial's reaction to Man Utd sacking revealed
ANTHONY MARTIAL has reacted to Manchester United’s decision to sack Jose Mourinho as their manager.
Mourinho replacement needs to understand the club says coach
Mourinho was relieved of his duties as United chief on Tuesday morning, less than two days after his now former side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be announced as the club’s interim manager later today, a role he’ll have until Red Devils chiefs find a suitable replacement for Mourinho.
Mourinho’s dismissal was mocked by Paul Pogba on Instagram, who posted a photograph of himself smirking with the accompanying caption: “Caption this.”
And it was also mocked by Martial, who liked a video on Twitter which took aim at Mourinho’s tactics and his relationship with Pogba.
In the animated clip, which features a slew of United’s first-team stars at a dinner table, Martial asks Mourinho, ‘Can I have a bigger roll?’
Mourinho responded by saying: “I don’t get Harry Maguire. You don’t more food."
Eagle-eyed United fans noticed Martial liked the clip around an hour after Mourinho’s sacking was announced.
The France international has since unliked the tweet, though that didn’t stop his action going unnoticed by football fans around the world.

Martial’s future at Old Trafford is currently in major doubt as his contract expires at the end of the season.
United have the option to extend the France international's deal, but his agent Philippe Lamboley has hinted that an agreement might not be reached.
"I am very pessimistic about discussions going positively," Lamboley told RMC.
"They have already sent us offers that do not meet our expectations, starting on bases very far from our wishes.
"We are far from agreement, for the time being.”
Mourinho leaves United having won the Europa League and League Cup and guiding the club to a second-placed finish last season.
The first game of the post-Mourinho era for United will be Premier League clash with Cardiff, who they’ll face in south Wales on Saturday afternoon.
