Man Utd legend Gary Neville REFUSED to do one thing for Shaqiri after Liverpool defeat
JAMIE CARRAGHER joked that Manchester United legend Gary Neville had refused to hand Xherdan Shaqiri the man-of-the-match award after his super-sub heroics.
Shaqiri was presented with the trophy by Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, who said: "You made a big impact and we're going to pass you this, the man of the match award there, I nearly dropped it.
"Gary Neville was going to give it to you but he didn't want to come down and face you."
The gag had Shaqiri in hysterics as he shook hands with Carragher in front of the cameras.
Shaqiri hit back at Neville earlier this season in an interview with Swiss publication Blick.

“I do not care what he [Neville] says,” Shaqiri said. “I do not care if he says now that I'm playing hard.
“Many have ridiculed after the transfer that Liverpool is too big for me. But I was always calm, too, when I got little playing time at the beginning.
“I knew, of course, because of the experience at Bayern and Inter, that I have to be patient, work focused and then take my chance when I get it.”
Asked if he would consider meeting Neville over a coffee to discuss the criticism of him, Shaqiri replied: “Not at all.”
