FPL gaffers have been busy in the transfer market looking for solutions, but make sure the rest of your squad is also sorted wth our handy hints and tips.
Top FPL transfer tips
DEF: David Luiz (Chelsea) – £5.6m
It’s becoming harder to ignore Luiz’s FPL potential.
He is great value for money, with Chelsea recording one clean sheet in every two games they play.
MID: Dele Alli (Tottenham) – £8.9m
Son Heung-min may have grabbed a goal and assist, but Alli ran the show against Leicester without Harry Kane.
FWD: Javier Hernandez (West Ham United) – £6.4m
The Mexican star isn’t a long-term option, but three goals in three games suggest he could be the man to replace Marko Arnautovic while he recovers from injury.
In-form FPL players
DEF: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool – £6.1m) – 7.2 form
The Dutchman has been an almost ever-present in the Liverpool back line and has picked up at least five points in each of his last five matches.
MID: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool – £13.0m) – 8.8 form
A brilliant hat-trick against the Cherries has seen Salah rise to joint-top of the form charts.
The Egyptian now has 10 goals and five assists this season.
MID: Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur – £8.5m) – 8.8 form
Three goals and two assists in five matches, plus four bonus points, makes Son one of the form players in the top-flight.
However, the South Korean is owned by just 5.4 per cent of managers.
Best-value FPL bargains
MID: Lucas Torreira (Arsenal – £5.1m) – 1.2 value
Arguably Arsenal’s best player this season, with the Uruguayan picking up at least six points on his past three appearances.

A rock at the heart of the Liverpool defence, with the Dutchman raking in nine clean sheets so far this season as well as two assists.
MID: James McArthur (Crystal Palace – £4.7m) – 1.3 value
McArthur is a surprise name at the top of the value standings after the budget Palace midfielder found the net against both Burnley and West Ham.

Who should I captain in FPL GW17?
Eden Hazard (Chelsea) vs Brighton & Hove Albion (A)
Hazard was rested for Chelsea’s dead rubber against MOL Vidi so should come out firing when the Blues travel to Brighton.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) vs Southampton (A)
Aubameyang is currently well in the hunt for the Golden Boot and it would be a brave punter who bets against him adding to his tally away against lowly Southampton.
TOP CHOICE – Felipe Anderson (West Ham United) vs Fulham (A)
The Brazilian is flying at the moment, having taken on goalscoring responsibilities following Marko Arnautovic’s hamstring injury.
Fulham have are yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season, and Anderson is most likely to cash in.
