Arsenal news: Unai Emery will not block Aaron Ramsey transfer exit because of one player
ARSENAL boss Unai Emery will not block Aaron Ramsey’s exit because of one Gunners star, according to reports.
Arsenal manager Emery is happy for Ramsey to leave the club, with the Wales international’s contract expiring at the end of the current campaign.
Despite spending over a decade with the club, and firing them to three FA Cup titles during his spell in north London, a parting of the ways looks to be on the cards.
As a result, Ramsey has found his game time at Arsenal restricted this season. Emery has instead looked to those he believes want to stay around for the long term.
Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have all emerged as possible suitors for Ramsey.
And the Daily Mail have now delved into why Emery is happy to let him go.
The report claims that Emery no longer views the player was indispensable because of the form of Lucas Torreira.
Torreira signed from Sampdoria in the summer after shining at the World Cup in Russia with Uruguay.
He initially experienced some teething problems in English football.

However, the Daily Mail say Emery is fully behind Torreira given his improved Arsenal form.
Meanwhile, Ramsey’s own form has recently been better than it previously was.
Arsenal legend Tony Adams, however, thinks that is because he is trying to impress possible suitors.
“He’s obviously playing really well because he is a free at the end of the season,” he said on BT Sport.
"He’s trying to get himself the best club possible isn’t he.
“It’s a bit of a weird situation that.”
Arsenal are next in action in the Europa League against Qarabag FK on Thursday (8pm).
Whether Ramsey features, however, remains to be seen.
