Liverpool news: Neymar and Kylian Mbappe CONFIRMED fit for Champions League showdown
THOMAS TUCHEL has confirmed that both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will be fit to face Liverpool.
There had been doubts over the fitness of the pair after they both sustained injuries while on international duty.
Neymar limped off after eight minutes as Brazil beat Cameroon in a friendly while Mbappe injured his shoulder playing for France against Uruguay.
But Thomas Tuchel has confirmed they are “100% fit” to take on Liverpool on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes.
The forwards completed a full training session on Monday in Paris.
"Yes, Neymar is 100% and Mbappe as well," he said.
"They are fit, they trained today and yesterday and they will line up tomorrow."
A win for Liverpool secures their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
PSG need to win the match as defeat could leave them on the brink of elimination.
Tuchel insisted that his side are not scared going into the match.
"Fear? No I don't fear anything, but I definitely feel the pressure in every match. This match is even more special,” he continued.
"It's very important, tomorrow is definitely going to be decisive and I feel the pressure inside me. But it's my pressure, not reflecting on the players."
If the Ligue 1 leaders are to beat the Reds then they will have to do their best to keep Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane quiet.
"We need to defend well against Mane, Salah and Firmino, this is very difficult," he added.
"For instance, Firmino may play any position in the offence, so we need to adapt. He's played in a 4-4-2, but it doesn't change the structure much. The key for us is to play with confidence"
Liverpool currently sit second, while Napoli top Group C.
They host Red Star Belgrade at the San Paolo.
