Mourinho sack claim
Stan Collymore reckons Jose Mourinho is set to be sacked by the end of the season - because there are better managers available.
“Eventually the penny will have to drop with Ed Woodward and the Glazers that there will be better people out there on a fraction of what Mourinho earns that can get more attacking football out of the same group of players,” he said in the Mirror.

“And that will happen. Do not be surprised if next year they have got in a manager with an attacking philosophy and Manchester United are a significantly better team.
“The results might be similar. Mourinho still wins a lot of games and I still expect Manchester United to finish third or fourth this season.
“This isn’t about not getting results. This is about getting results allied with the fundamental principles of United, which is to entertain their fan base. He will never do that. He cannot change at this late stage. He is done. He is finished and gone in May or June. The end.”
Skriniar latest
Manchester United are still on the heels of Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar despite the Serie A side’s recent valuation.
The MEN claim Jose Mourinho is pushing ahead with plans to snap up Skriniar in January.
Inter wanted £75m for their gem in the summer but United backed away from the deal.
Yet the Red Devils remain interested and could make a move for the Slovakia international in the New Year.
Mourinho threatens players
Jose Mourinho has threatened to send Manchester United’s top stars home if they cannot stand the pressure.
Mourinho’s United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace at the weekend and host Young Boys in the Champions League tonight.
“If you feel pressure, then stay at home, and when I say home, I don’t say stadium home, I say home home and watch on TV,” he said.
“When the people come to support? Come on. I don’t feel pressure to play at home.”
Man Utd injury news
Manchester United will be without Victor Lindelof for their clash with Young Boys tonight.
The defender was taken off with a thigh strain in United’s draw with Crystal Palace.
And he is set to be out for a month, leaving manager Mourinho with a headache in defence.
"We have Bailly and Jones," Mourinho said. "Marcos Rojo has some little injury and Victor a proper injury that will keep him out for a while, so Jones, Smalling and Bailly are the three we have.”

West Ham deal rests on Mourinho
Manchester United’s success in the race to sign West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic rests on Jose Mourinho staying at the club.
The Telegraph claim Mourinho is the man driving the initiative to sign Arnautovic in the summer.
The player is open to leaving West Ham for Old Trafford but United would likely drop their interest if Mourinho is sacked.
Pressure is once again mounting on the Portuguese boss as his side flounder in the Premier League - and there is uncertainly as to his long-term future with the club.
