Neymar to Barcelona: PSG star saying he WILL complete transfer in Real Madrid snub - claim
NEYMAR is reportedly saying he will rejoin Barcelona in the summer.
The striker quit Barcelona for a shock transfer to PSG in the summer of 2017.
The £200m hostile transfer saw Neymar sour relations with the Nou Camp club as he forced his move to France.
Since the move, Neymar has been dogged with questions about his future, with Real Madrid interested in his services.
The 26-year-old has also emerged as a target of Barca, with the Spanish champions seemingly open to re-signing their former talisman.
And Spanish TV show El Chiringuito claim the Brazilian already has his heart back at Barca.
According to the report, Neymar has openly discussed next season, saying “next year when we are in Barcelona…” when conversing with friends.
El Chiringuito reckon Neymar is ‘totally focused’ on a move back to the Nou Camp, despite Real's interest.
PSG are determined to keep Neymar, even though Kylian Mbappe has emerged as their biggest talent over the past 12 months.
It is understood the Ligue 1 giants are keen for Neymar and Mbappe to strike up the sort of partnership required to haul the side to Champions League glory this season.
Part of the reasoning behind Neymar’s world-record deal two summers ago was for PSG to make their mark on the transfer window.
His arrival irked new team-mate Edinson Cavani, with whom the player has endured spats over the course of their time at the Parc des Princes.
Cavani would likely be the player sacrificed if PSG had to sell one of their three forwards.
Yet an impending Financial Fair Play ruling from UEFA may force PSG to cash in on Neymar.
UEFA are yet to confirm their finding on an appeal - lodged by Barca - into an investigation on PSG’s finances.
Barcelona claim the Ligue 1 side must have broken FFP rules, having signed Neymar and Mbappe for a combined £366m over the past 16 months.
PSG deny the allegations of wrongdoing with regards to FFP breaches.
