Fantasy Premier League tips: Biggest transfer ins and outs ahead of FPL GW13
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE managers have already been hard at work in the transfer market well in advance of GW13.
Fantasy Premier League bosses have wasted no time at all in freshening up their squads following a low-scoring GW12.
FPL gaffers have already been frantically buying and selling, despite the GW13 deadline being over a week away.
Injuries to key fantasy football stars Kieran Trippier and James Maddison have triggered an exodus of sales, while Anthony Martial’s form is attracting admirers.
A lot can happen in the international break to shatter the best laid FPL plans, but some managers are obviously running the risk in order to avoid price rises.
Many have jumped on the Martial bandwagon in order to avoid paying over the odds for the Manchester United ace, who has now scored six goals in his last five matches.
Managers are also investing in Liverpool assets such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson with a kind run of fixtures on the horizon.
However, the duo’s Reds team-mate Sadio Mane is experiencing sales after blanks against Arsenal and Fulham.
Managers may come to regret their early sales with over a week to go until the transfer deadline, but who are the most signed and shipped out players so far?
OUT – 5. Sadio Mane (Liverpool): 40,083
Two goals against Crystal Palace in GW10 have done little to restore faith in the Senegalese winger, who had four goals in the opening four gameweeks but has struggled since.
OUT – 4. Roberto Pereyra (Watford): 40,222
Back-to-back goals in GW9 and GW10 saw a surge in ownership but Pereyra blanked against both Newcastle and Southampton.
OUT – 3. Harry Maguire (Leicester City): 56,419
The Leicester centre-back picked up a knee injury against Cardiff and has an unknown return date.
OUT – 2. James Maddison (Leicester City): 97,277
Another injury issue for the Foxes, although Maddison is not expected to be out for as long as Maguire.
OUT – 1. Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur): 127,006
The Spurs right-back limped off against Crystal Palace with a groin problem but may well return after the international break.
IN – 5. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool): 48,431
Started the last three Premier League games for Liverpool and was rewarded with a clean sheet against Fulham.
IN – 4. Andrew Robertson (Liverpool): 56,509
An assist and maximum bonus points for the Scottish international against the Cottagers has seen plenty of managers take the plunge on the premium defender.
IN – 3. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City): 57,485
Consecutive strikes against Southampton and Manchester United while matches against West Ham, Bournemouth and Watford are next up.
IN – 2. Raul Jimenez (Wolverhampton Wanderers): 96,870
A real bargain buy at £5.8m, having started every match, scored three goals and provided five assists.
IN – 1. Anthony Martial (Manchester United): 106,747
The in-form man in the top flight, and his price is only going to rise.
