Juventus vs Man Utd: Paul Scholes blames Jose Mourinho for big United problem
MANCHESTER UNITED’s slow starts to matches this season are down to one person - Jose Mourinho.
That is according to BT Sport pundit and Manchester United legend Paul Scholes.
United have gone behind in four of their last five matches in all competitions.
The Red Devils have come back to claim something from three of those games, including the 2-1 win at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Mourinho’s side were lucky to only be 1-0 down at the Vitality Stadium when Anthony Martial equalised before half time.

The mentality they go out with is to sit back and defend. He is that kind of manager
United performed much better in the second half, as many pundits feel they have done in recent matches at Chelsea and Newcastle.
And Scholes claims the reason for poor starts to matches is down to the mentality Jose Mourinho has drummed into this players.
Scholes reckons United’s strength is to attack and says Mourinho needs to realise that.
“I think it’s the way they go out,” Scholes said.
“The mentality they go out with is to sit back and defend.
“He is that kind of manager, he wants United tight at the back.
“This team haven’t really done that.
“I think the strength of this team is going forward.
“I think as soon as they realise that then they may get some better results.”
Scholes was speaking ahead of Manchester United's Champions League visit to Juventus on Wednesday.
His former side were still without Romelu Lukaku due to injury.
Alexis Sanchez started up front, as he did against Bournemouth.
Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard came into the starting XI.
