Liverpool news: Aaron Ramsey would replace this 'sensational' star in Jurgen Klopp’s team
ARSENAL star Aaron Ramsey would most likely replace James Milner in the Liverpool team if he joined the Anfield club.
Aaron Ramsey to Liverpool would be 'incredible' says Mariner
That is the verdict of former Arsenal and England striker Paul Mariner.
Aaron Ramsey is out of contract at the Emirates at the end of the current season.
The Welshman looks set to leave the club for free with reports claiming Arsenal will not return with an extension after withdrawing their last offer.
And Liverpool are the favourites with the bookies to sign Ramsey next summer.

Mariner believes the 27-year-old would be a fine addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The ESPN FC pundit claims Ramsey would become a key player straight away if he joined.
And Mariner can see the Arsenal man taking over from James Milner, who turns 33 in January.
“He will (end up at a top club),” Mariner said of Ramsey.
“Liverpool, Liverpool, hands down (would be the best club for Ramsey).
“He’s all about the team, he’s all about ‘whatever the coach wants I can do’, he can play in multiple positions.
“I personally think he’d play in the No 6, it’s absolutely ideal for him.
“When you look at Milner, is Milner getting on a little bit now?
“Maybe his minutes are limited even though he’s been sensational.

Milner has become a vital member of Klopp’s midfield in the last 12 months.
He has made 13 appearances so far this season, scoring two goals.
Arsenal and Liverpool go head-to-head this Saturday at the Emirates (5.30pm).
