Arsenal news: Paul Merson tears into Gunners – ‘Liverpool will beat them by THREE goals’
ARSENAL hero Paul Merson is not convinced by his former side – despite them winning their last 10 games in all competitions.
Liverpool will rip Arsenal to shreds claims Paul Merson
Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Leicester on Monday put them into fourth place in the Premier League, just two points behind top spot.
The manner of the second-half performance has led to some claiming the Gunners can end their 15-year wait for the title this season.

However, Merson is having none of it and reckons qualifying for the Champions League would be a huge success.
The pundit has not been impressed with Unai Emery’s defence and claims they would have been punished by better opposition.
I would be shocked if Liverpool didn’t win by three clear goals. They will rip Arsenal to shreds
Liverpool visit the Emirates in 10 days’ time and Merson is predicting a comfortable win for the visitors.
"They haven’t played anybody yet,” Merson said of Arsenal on talkSPORT.
“No (Arsenal are not title contenders). If they finish in the top four they’ve pulled up trees.
“They’ve done well to win ten games on the trot, don’t get me wrong.
“But when they come up against Tottenham and Liverpool, and especially Liverpool at the Emirates, I would be shocked if Liverpool didn’t win by three clear goals.
“They will rip Arsenal to shreds.
“I’m scratching my head, because Arsenal have won ten games in a row and in half of those games they could have been behind by so many in the first half.
“But when they get going in the second half, when everything is rolling, then they’re the Harlem Globetrotters.
“I mean look at Mesut Ozil, he was phenomenal. If he played like that every week, he’d be the best player in the world.
“So no, I can’t buy into it. I think they’ve been very, very fortunate.
“They haven’t played anybody yet, and you can’t play like this against teams like Liverpool.”
Liverpool are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table.
