Manchester United star Lukaku is currently going through a dry patch, having last found the net in a 2-0 victory over Watford back in September.
The Belgium international is the club’s undisputed centre-forward but saw his hapless luck continue against Juventus last night.
Speaking after that 1-0 defeat, Mourinho opted to defend the Manchester United striker, saying: “His moment is not sweet. Not just with the goals he is not scoring.
"He is not linking well with the team, but he is our striker. We believe in him.”
