Man City: 'New terms' to be agreed with Raheem Sterling
Neymar will always generate headlines. It’s what being the face of Brazilian football does. A move to PSG was never going to make the noise go away.
A little over a year since swapping the Nou Camp for the Parc des Princes, Neymar is in the spotlight again. Barcelona and Real Madrid are leading the charge to lure him back to La Liga amid claims he is ready to jump ship.
Mundo Deportivo’s scalp that Neymar wants a move back to the Nou Camp is interesting. But, it is actually possible?
And what if Real Madrid, long-term admirers, decide to go for him? What then?
Neymar left Barcelona under a cloud. As if moving to PSG in a £200million move wasn’t bad enough, he then proceeded to take aim at the club’s directors.
There is a feeling, though, that a return is not entirely out of the question.
Barcelona crave superstars and have done, ironically, since Neymar’s exit. Since then, Ousmane Dembele has signed for £120million. Philippe Coutinho, for £142m.
It isn’t impossible but it’s tricky. And it would mean Barcelona having to embark on a major summer selling spree in order to balance the books.
Barca are also due to enter a legal battle with Neymar over his transfer to PSG in the summer of 2017. The club are suing Neymar over what they claim was a breach of contract. The player is counter-suing, claiming he is owed more money by the club.
A lot of apologising would be required on the player’s behalf. But a move would make sense - especially if they fail to win the Champions League.

Neymar to Real Madrid?
If there’s one club who will be worried about Neymar joining Barcelona - other than PSG - it’s Real Madrid.
They want him. Badly.
A source recently told Express Sport that Real would go for Neymar above all other players in his position.
He’s more than a player, he’s a brand. Marketable off the pitch and prolific on it. The perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Should he leave PSG, they WILL go for him.

Chelsea or Arsenal?
It’s a non-starter. But there’s substance, albeit very small substance.
A Neymar insider recently told Express Sport that the Brazilian would like to play in London.
“He loves England – but mainly London. He has been there three or four times in the last 12 months,” this source is quoted as saying. “He says there is always something about London.
“The last time he kept ringing me up and begging me to join him because he loved it so much. He kept saying ‘this place is amazing, this place is amazing’. He just loves London.”
Arsenal and Chelsea fans, sorry. It isn’t going to happen.
