Chelsea news: Man Utd met Willian advisors for transfer talks - this is why deal collapsed
CHELSEA star Willian was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, and fresh reports have now delved into why a transfer failed to materialise.

Chelsea forward Willian was wanted by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, who brought the player to west London during his own time at Stamford Bridge.
The Red Devils boss was eager to sign an attacker this summer despite having Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford all capable of playing on the flanks.
And Football London say Willian’s advisors met with United to discuss a move away from Chelsea as Mourinho sought reinforcements.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian recently opened up on United’s interest, saying he never considered a move to Old Trafford.
"I always told him [Sarri] I'm really happy playing for Chelsea," he said.
"I never talk about me leaving the club, this is a new era with the new boss and our first conversations have gone really well.
