Tottenham team news: Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham team - worrying news for Spurs fans
TOTTENHAM team news - predicted 4-2-3-1 Spurs line up to face Cardiff this afternoon (3pm).
Spurs fans heading to White Hart Lane today have to prepare for their side to deal with the loss of four key stars.
Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele are all injured and will miss the visit of Cardiff.
And, in a futher blow, defender Jan Vertonghen is out with a hamstring problem that could rule him out for up to six weeks.
That in itself has caused major issues at Spurs after Belgium boss Belgium boss Roberto Martinez went public and revealed the injury news.
That has infuriated Spurs, who have not put any timescale on his return from a hamstring injury.
Pochettino was riled by the fact Martinez didn't contact him first - and Spurs fear he could be out even longer.
Manager Pochettino said: "We cannot guess (how long) because it was not a good injury. We hope as soon as possible it can be fixed. But it's not about the injury.
"You knew about the Vertonghen situation because Roberto told the media in Belgium before us. But, in the end, it's our player - our employee.
"It's difficult. They need to call and ask. We are open to talk and give our opinion.
"The national teams need to know they are Tottenham players but they decided to not ask us."
